First of all I’m sorry for the lack of blog posts the past couple of weeks, I kind of took an impromptu holiday, I didn’t actually go away, well except Berlin for work, but it seems when your husband is off work all you want to do is play and eat lots of food!!! I have to admit I’m finding it hard this week getting back into a groove. It isn’t that I’m struggling for content, I’ve got loads, I’m actually a little overwhelmed about where to start with it all. I have my trip to Berlin, which by the way, was amazing, a spa review, a new beauty brand obsession, more style posts including my favourite maxi dress and some jazzy strippy trousers from Asos, as well as sharing more of my travels to Kuala Lumpur. I just can’t believe how busy I’ve been, normally August is a little downtime before the madness of fashion week, but not this year.
So as it has been two weeks since my last style post so I thought I would share one from my recent Berlin trip and show off the amazing ripped jeans from American Eagle Outfitters that I was raving about in a recent blog post on their pop-up in Old Street station, which by the way is still open until September 20, as well as this bargain sleeveless coat from Boohoo.com, which is now only £12 – for more great options check out this shopping post.
I was in Berlin for a tech launch, the stunning new Huawei smart watch, which I can’t wait to share properly with you, but trust me it is going to shake-up the market as it is the most fashionable smart watch out there and I can’t wait to try it out. While in the German city, I got to do a bit of sightseeing, such a beauty city, more to come on this as I took so many pictures I’m finding it hard to edit my blog post down. I really did love its chilled out vibe, it has the beauty of Paris, the creativity of London, as well as the grittiness of New York all rolled into one, I absolutely loved it and two days really wasn’t long enough to see it all.
These ripped jeans were my go-to walking around jeans while in Berlin, they are super comfortable, and I love how they work well with heels as well as trainers. I’ve always stayed cleared of ripped jeans, for some reason in blue I just don’t suit them, but in black I just think the distressed look really works, and I think they work perfectly with this sleeveless coat, another new obsession, but it is just perfect for this transitional weather.
Finishing up my look is the new gorgeous blush version of my trusty Elektronista Digital Clutch from Knomo, I’m kind of obsessed with being organised, especially when I travel and this beauty is a must-buy. I love that as well as keeping all my techie gear safe, and the fact it has a charging pack, on a travelling trip it also carries my passport, plane tickets, currency, travel guide, as well as my beauty essentials. Then on top of all that it also doubles as a clutch in the evening, just detach the strap and away you go. I love it in black, but come on this blush colour is just so me, and it really works well with this monochrome outfit.
What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of ripped jeans and sleeveless coats? Also have you discovered the Knomo Elektronista Clutch yet?
