There’s something about a casual sunny Sunday with brunch plans with my husband that just calls for Converse. They just yell casual, comfortable and yet when they are covered in leather sequins you can also feel stylish.
These beauties deserved bare legs, the sun made me think spring had arrived, and sadly I shivered more than tan! But it was worth getting a little chilly as this asymmetric wrap skirt, a £20 bargain from Asos, goes perfectly with these pearly white Converse, and I’m sure that come actual warm weather they will both become my go-to look.
Come warmer times this look will be paired with a white tee or crop top, but in March, which I am calling that tricky transitional weather, a trusty chunky jumper was most certainly needed. There is something about the delicate lace trim of this Primark jumper that just adds to the fun, casual vibe of this look that I love, plus I think a dash of white is needed to break up my current obsession with grey, which is fast becoming my new black.
Finishing off my Sunday vibes of brunch, browsing bookshops and a walk down by the river is my cute ‘Tiny Tim’, just enough room for my lippy and card holder, yep no room for my mobile, and I can tell you it was quite refreshing going without it for the day and leaving it at home.
