When the invite is a dinner napkin smeared with lipstick kisses and wine glass stains you kind of know that the House of Holland AW14 show is going to be a lot of fun.
Henry Holland‘s grand debutante ball for his “Rich Bitches” was full of colour and kitsch with a rock star feel with an incredible soundtrack mixed by The MisShapes, it is seriously the best music of fashion week without fail.
The collection itself was a kaledioscope of colours and textures, with satin quilted bombers, sequinned frocks, fur-trimmed coats and shrugs, bright prints, and metallic pencil skirts, for AW14 there is a lot going on, but his fun and OTT vibe is totally wearable.
Highlights for me, other than the music, had to be the long-line bomber jacket with “Rich Bitch” emblazoned across the back, The Sun tees showing off Henry’s humour, and his new collection of handbags that I can’t wait to get a closer look at.
