LFW SS14: Jean-Pierre Braganza – Mobius

LFW-SS14-JPBraganza-10Known for his incredible prints, Jean-Pierre Braganza produced a collection filled with an abstract floral splatter and vine-like swirls in cute girlie skate silhouettes and skirts with asymmetric hems inspired by how his daughter wears her school uniform.

Normally, Braganza goes for a mainly dark colour palette no matter the season, so it was quite a surprise to see pale pink accents coming through the collection, which had a touch of sports luxe about it with sporty cropped tops, sleeveless biker jackets and tomboy trousers.

If you thought pink was big for autumn/winter the girlie shade is also going strong for spring/summer – seen already at Fyodor Golan and Bora Aksu – the pink hues at Braganza were pale and sugary rather than bright and bold and worked perfectly alongside the white lace, borderline anglaise and black and white stripes.

There were lots of pieces to love, from the folded detailing shown on dresses and skirts to the skater skirts, and the bomber jackets featuring the dark graphic print.
