After the amazing opening day of London Fashion Week I was raring to go for Day 2, my train company however had other ideas, but I didn’t let that get me down.
Friday was busy, but today was crazy with 7 shows to get to, and it seemed that each one was dotted across London. So today I have gone from Somerset House to see Holly Fulton and John Rocha, then rushed over to see Orla Kiely, followed by Marcus Lupfer, then back to the main tent via Shack Shake to see Ashish, then press bused it over to an NCP car park for House of Holland and back again for Mark Fast – just running through it is making me tired again.
As I knew I would be running all over the place I went for comfort in my outfit, shocker I know, pairing my trusty faux leather skirt from Next with my new River Island jumper and my Lulu Guinness eye purse that really does goes with everything. This outfit is one of my go-to looks so you might have seen it before – but I really love this look.
My Style: Hazel eye purse, Lulu Guinness (c/o) // Faux leather skirt, Next // Geometric patterned grey jumper, River Island // White shirt, Very.co.uk (c/o) // Ankle boots, Topshop // Glasses, Karen Millen for Specsavers (c/o) //
Highlights of the day have definitely been the Markus Lupfer presentation, which was basically a teenager girl’s bedroom from the 90’s, with pictures of Jason Priestley on the wall – it was so much fun and I think the Clueless-esq collection will do really well.
Another fun show was the House of Holland, always one of my favourites not only are Henry Holland’s collections getting stronger each season, but I love that he always picks an amazing soundtrack, invites all his celeb friends to grace the front row, and that he makes an NCP car park unrecognisable – this year with a purple floral printed runway.
Stay tuned for full posts on all the shows from today – I just have to edit the 500 or so pictures that I took!!!
As with Day 1, I have put together my highlight reel using HTC Zoe on my HTC One:
