My sportswear is generally black, much like my everyday wardrobe, but with the sun shining it just didn’t really inspire me, so I thought what better way than to get myself out of my little exercise rut than to buy new workout gear with an added splash of pink!!!
I have to be honest I found taking this outfit post more daunting than the others, over the past year my confidence has increased, but wearing gym wear made me feel that extra bit sensitive to my many flaws. But looking at the results of the pop of colour in my look and those incredible Nike trainers against the graffiti wall I am pretty pleased with them.
The starting point for this look were those striking, can probably see from space, neon Nike Lady Flyknit Lunar1+ running shoes that I was kindly gifted from SportShoes.com, which if you are on the hunt for some bright trainers has literally ever colour and brand available.
Not only are they fun and colourful, they are also the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn, I love that they are super light while still having a cushioning platform and the snug fit really made for a smooth run around my village, which is wearing I spotted that the cricket house has free graffiti walls for the youngsters to show off their creativity and I thought it was the perfect backdrop for this look.
For my workout clothes I normally go for Nike, especially for my trousers, I am not sure why but I trust their quality and they last a long time, and the Legend 2.0 range is my favourite, and these Nike capris are perfect for the summer.
For my tops I just like to be comfortable, but I do love Nike’s Dri-Fit pieces, and the pink vest top you can see underneath has a built-in bra, and is perfect for layering under this Puma crop top, which hides a multitude of sins!!!
What do you wear to workout in? Do you like to inspire your runs with a pop of colour?
