OMG I know I am about a week behind on getting excited about this but have you seen the trailer yet for HBO’s documentary ‘In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye’?
I loved, loved, loved The September Issue and this looks to be even better, and I so wish I could be part of Wintour’s “dysfunctional family”. This documentary is part of Vogue’s 120th anniversary and unlike The September Issue which looked at one issue, this films draws from Vogue’s archives and takes a look at some of the world’s most influential fashion images, which I am sure will translate as a visual masterpiece.
As well as featuring Anna Wintour and her fashion editors Grace Coddington, Tonne Goodman, Polly Allen Mellen, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Camilla Nickerson, Phyllis Posnick and Babs Simpson, this documentary also includes interviews with Nicole Kidman and Sarah Jessica Parker, as well as fashion designers Alber Elbaz, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang – what a stellar line-up!!!
I get jealous a lot by people living in America, but more so when a documentary like this doesn’t have a UK release date – lucky Americans you can view Vogue: The Editor’s Eye on December 6, Brits I will keep you informed if I find out if a UK channel has taken it.
Anyone else excited about seeing it? I notice there is already a hashtag #InVogue so I will be refreshing that like made on Twitter on Thursday.
