Verdict: When I heard that Nicole Richie was doing an affordable collection for Macy’s I was excited, I am a huge fan of Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960, but it wasn’t until I saw Nicole wearing her own design this week that I realised that I am going to want it all.
The capsule collection is set to hit Macy’s in September and it will include 24-30 pieces, which is pretty impressive, and in an interview with WWD she said that the collection will have “a strong mix of masculine and feminine: printed chiffon mixed with faux leathers,” sounds dreamy – I just hope I can buy it online and ship it to the UK!!!
The top alone in this look is amazing – I love the flowy shape of the chiffon blouse with its billowing sleeves and I die over the contrasting dark panels to the shoulders and collar – this is just one piece and I am sold. It looks incredible paired with skinny trousers, and I also have to point out her hair and make-up – totally flawless – the pop of red lippy with this monochrome look is the perfect finish.
