The Amazing Spider-Man: Emma Stone In Dolce & Gabbana

June 22, 2012

Who: Emma Stone

Where: At The Amazing Spider-Man’s Madrid premiere

Wearing: A floral embroidered cream lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with puffy shoulders and a scalloped hemline from the autumn/winter 2012 collection, teamed with nude Christian Louboutin heels

Verdict: What a contrast to her uber-glamorous kind of masculine Elie Saab jumpsuit she wore to the London premiere but I love it just as much. First up, did you notice the scalloped lace hem, yep I told you scalloped detailing is everywhere, and it really gives this dress a delicate and vintage touch, which works perfectly with the floral embroidery.

What I love about this dress the most has to be those gorgeous puffy shoulders, kind of 80’s prom Queen, then you add in the vintage/curtain vibe in the colourful floral tapestry embroidery, especially the detailing to her waist that completely nips in her already tiny waist. and I am sold.

Simply gorgeous. I also love her wavy hair kept in place with white hair clips. Completely adorable. LOVE this look a lot!!!

Also, hands up who's had a lovely sunny day? Mum and I have had a fab one filled with culture two exhibitions including the new Monet one at The National Gallery that I would definitely recommend and yummy food I treated her to the fabulousness of By Chloe and she loved it - I'm an addict for their guac burger.
...
Then after all that fun we enjoyed the evening sunshine with Falcon on his favourite walk - now off for more food - I can't remember when I've had a better hump day!
  • Spent the day running between press days, check out my stories for a sneak peek at what Boden has coming up for AW18, doing boring errands, trying to transcribe a really difficult interview the designer has a strong accent, and a crazy stack of admin that I sadly can no longer ignore. But hey at least we had sunshine!
...
So kisses with this cutie when I came home was much needed.
...
Hope you guys had a great day in the sun.
  • Anyone checked the weather like ten times in disbelieve that we actually have sunshine and its only going to get better - like 26 on Thursday in April is amazing and I'm so ready for a little warmth after that never-ending winter.
...
Also, sunshine means I get to wear all my favourite sunglasses - I love how fun these Swatch beauties are.
...
How are you enjoying this gorgeous weather?
  • With this gorgeous spring weather we are enjoying it is only right to embrace it - so for our Sunday afternoon I wore my new bright yellow skirt.
...
Not dog walking friendly - Falcon did try to put his muddy paws over me, but I'm kind of addicted to yellow. There's something about wearing sunshine tones that just makes everything better and this is a beauty of a skirt from @asos I'm loving the button details.

  • Weekends are for treats right? Headed to our favourite burger joint in Rye for lunch @hoof_rye - this place not only does great burgers, sweet potato fries and onion rings but also a monster freakshake that each time I'm too stuffed to try.
...
Afterwards we wandered around Rye, it never gets old I love this town, looked in a few antique shops in the hope that something dreamy would be there, sadly nothing really spoke to me.

How's your Saturday going?
  • Today was a good Friday. I got to interview @rails founder @thejeffabrams who was super lovely and it was inspirational to hear how he launched his successful global brand. I also fell hard for his great shirts and the very Instagramable customised denim jacket, see my Instastories to see what I mean. I've already been on the Rails website and they have a picture of it with Danielle on the back - means it's fate right?
...
Then I got to hangout with the @fashercise girls at their new shop and see their fab collection - you have to see their new trainers so dreamy.
...
Then for date night with the hubbie we went for a long dog walk - yeah to lighter nights - and now I'm eating fish and chips. Seriously such a good day.
  • Been stuck at my desk all day, trying and failing to write up an interview I did, I always tell myself to transcribe interviews as soon as I can and I never do and then find myself not even understanding what I'm asking - does this happen to anyone else?
...
So, I ran out of time to shoot some content so I'm throwing back to this @cathkidston_ltd x Disney look that I adore - anytime I get dressed up as Minnie Mouse I'm happy.
