Wow, what a transformation Selena Gomez has been given by Joe Zee, of course Joe is known for creating stunning celebrity editorials especially for young starlets, I still remember the Lauren Conrad shoot, but I have to ask is Selena really ELLE’s target audience?
I have to be honest and say on paper I don’t think so, but as soon as I saw the July cover and the accompanying editorial with a very sexed up Selena I have to say that she looks absolutely stunning, and I can see that the magazine is positioning her as the new Hollywood ‘It’ girl.
The cover itself shot by Carter Smith is exquisite, that gorgeous black and gold floral applique Dolce & Gabbana corset dress from the autumn/winter 2012 collection is divine on her. I also loving the accessories especially that cute heart ring from David Yurman.
Selena continues looking hot in a very high-end fashion spread showing off her feminine assets in a gorgeous metal Yves Saint Laurent chain dress, a Vera Wang bra teamed with pyjama-style Marni trousers, and those incredible Brain Atwood colour-block heels. There is also a Lanvin peplum dress and a Balmain top worn as a dress, I think all that was missing was a couture number but I am sure that will come!!!
I think one thing that is for sure is that everyone will notice Selena Gomez in a different light after this magazine hits newsstands on June 19.
