Beauty: QVC Host First ‘Facewalk’

This week I was invited to a ‘Facewalk’, yep a beauty catwalk at the Hospital Club hosted by QVC. You see apparently the UK beauty market is now reportedly worth a massive £3.4billion a year, and the TV shopping channel decided to host a twist on the traditional fashion catwalk show by showcase its beauty offerings with these creative looks, such a great idea.

Curated by leading makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench, the looks were incredible and created an impact as the runway was dark and light was shone just on the faces of the models. There were 12 looks, ranging from contemporary and classic, but what make the most impact were the extreme beauty looks that were specially designed for the event including the ‘flower’, ‘geisha’, ‘sky’, ‘space’ and my favourite the ‘bird’.

I am still amazing that all the looks were used creating products and brands available through QVC including Jemma Kidd, Bobbi Brown and bareMinerals.

I wondering whether any other beauty brands are going to follow suit and do something similar in the future – it definitely made the beauty products stand out for me. Which is your favourite look?
