It seems like no one is getting bored of collaborations, whether it is top fashion houses Versace or Marni releasing collections with H&M, or London Fashion Week designer Alice Temperley partnering with John Lewis, or even emerging designer Olivia Rubin teaming up with Dorothy Perkins, it seems our thirst for designer bargains keeps making the retailers attract new and exciting partnerships.
Well yesterday, H&M announced that they have tapped the very eccentric and fashionable Anna Dello Russo to design an accessories collection for them, which they describe as “over-the-top”, and I seriously can’t wait for October 4 when it launches.
The collection features jewellery, sunglasses, shoes, bags and a trolley, which all I can picture is one of those granny shopping bags on wheels, and of course it is all heavily embellished, very bling, and lots of gold, and I am sure she will be sporting it at Couture Fashion Week over the summer.
“I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M involves a Fashion Director in a special project. This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist I know accessorization is essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day”, says Anna Dello Russo.
Want to find out more? Then watch H&M’s exclusive interview with ADR, I love her shaking the charm necklace and bracelet, which perfectly showcases the “over-the-top” collection!!! But best of all this video shows off her home I love all the trinkets.
Will you be joining me and buying up the collection?
