Many moons ago, prior to this fashion blog, I used to just keep an online photo journal, which basically just contained pictures I had taken, inspirational collages and just generally things I loved, and I have to admit I kind of miss it. So I had considered starting it up again, but to be honest I really don’t have the time, Fashionista Barbie really does keep me busy, so I have decided to take part in Project 365.
Nothing is set in stone with Project 365, it is just a daily creative outlet featuring what ever you like. You could post a daily style snap, a new recipe, a new Barbie, or if like me you just want to share photographs of things you love then that is OK as well. My Project 365 will all be taken with my mobile device, currently a Blackberry 9780 – but due an upgrade so may change, and will sit under my Dear Diary section so you can catch up on them as the year goes by.
I was going to do all Project 365 posts from my BB, but it seems after three days of using the WordPress application on my phone, the blogs haven’t even gone live – so it isn’t very reliable – so I have started again and back dated them all!!
Day One: I am a Barbie girl
I have been after a Barbie necklace for a while, I have a lot of charms but I wanted something fun and kitsch – and this laser-cut hot pink acrylic Barbie necklace from Etsy certainly is!!! I thought this was a great place to start as it blends in my life, Fashionista Barbie and Project 365 nicely – trust me though there will no doubt be some weird ones throughout the year.
