Anyone else wanted to buy a full outfit from the ballet The Sleeping Beauty? No, just me. Well if I am not alone the Royal Opera House are holding a massive costume sale September 24-25, just imagine all those gorgeous gowns.
More than 1,500 costumes are on sale, from productions include The Sleeping Beauty ballet, the 1958 production of Don Carlos, Lohengrin, Duke Bluebeard’s Castle, Erwartung, and Maskarade. I am actually most excited by the accessories I think, a crown from Don Carlos would be spectacular.
All proceeds from the sale goes towards the work of the Royal Opera House, with prices starting from just £20 to £500. If only my wardrobe would allow a grand ball gown or a tutu!!
