Once again Louis Vuitton and Annie Leibovitz has produced a stunning shot for the Core Value’s campaign, last time it was Bono and his wife Ali Hewson in Africa, and now Angelina Jolie takes the initiative to South-East Asia.
I love how they have chosen a place that everyone knows Angie loves, Cambodia. A place close to her heart as her adopted son Maddox was born there, and she even filmed my favourite of her many movies Tomb Raider in the country. The hollywood actress looks amazing sitting barefoot in a wooden boat on a river in Cambodia, wearing clothes from her own wardrobe, as well as the gorgeous monogrammed Louis Vuitton Alto bag, which is six years old and is sadly no longer in production.
What I love most about this image has to be the earthy feel of it, the green scenery, the lilly-pads on the river, and the rustic look of the boat, combine that with her natural beauty stripped back, and it just works.
The full campaign, including Angelina talking about the shoot and her love for the country will be on the Louis Vuitton website from June 15.
