Blighty has gone a little Lady Gaga crazy the past couple of days with her being in the country for Radio 1′s Big Weekend, and she is looking amazing on the cover of the 71st issue of V magazine.
These covers shot by renowned fashion photography duo Inez and Vinoodh are for publications The Asian Issue. Admittedly, it does seem a little strange that they chose someone who isn’t actually Asian but hey, it does coincide with her new monthly column for the magazine.
This teaser cover above is my favourite as the make-up detailing with sequins and feathers is exquisite to make it look like a butterfly on her face. I can’t wait to see the accompanying editorial.
Of course as it is Lady Gaga and styled by Nicola Formichetti, this is also a Mugler special with all clothes coming from the autumn/winter 2011 collection.
The 71st issue is on newsstands now; or why not buy the special hard-bound collector’s edition, which comes with an exclusive t-shirt for $99, with 10% of all proceeds going towards the Japan Relief efforts.
