AW11 Press Day: Warehouse Steps Back In Time

The autumn/winter press day season is well and truly in full swing, and this week I made my first visit to the amazing disco-fever W Hotel London to see the gorgeous collection from Warehouse. Celebrating 35 years of high street design this season, it seems that a vintage vibe of 60’s silhouettes, bold 70’s colour, and sharp tailoring is in order for AW11. I have to be honest I loved it all.

This outfit was one of my highlights of the collection, with its bold print and bright faux-fur stole, this is a complete copy of Gucci’s, and I love it. From the luxurious silks and satins, the stripes and chevron prints, everything about the ‘Magazine’ collection is a nod to the late 70’s/early 80’s glamour – I want every piece!!

For my annual hunt for a winter coat, I am going to start here, as there were some gorgeous pieces from the aptly named ‘Sherbert’ collection. I really loved the colour palette of this line, from the candy pink, to the pops of red, it has a girlie quality about it, with its 60’s inspired swing coats with peter pan collars and higher hemlines, perfect for any Fashionista Barbie!!

I love this orange shade with a funky white print, this will brighten up any winter day.

Top of my wish has to be this coat, part of the ‘Heritage’ collection, which has been inspired by traditional British attire. Not only is it chic with its coordinated gold belt, this is going to keep you warm through winter and will go with everything – I adore this coat.

It seems that dots and pleats are still high on the agenda for autumn/winter, which I am very pleased about, this dress is a classic with its long sleeves and bow detailing.

Everything from the sleek tailored pieces, to the girlie pink accessoried tights, and the edgy 70’s pieces, this collection is one of the best I have seen from Warehouse in a while and I will certainly be picking up a lot of what I saw.
