Former Fashion Scout Merit Award winner Eudon Choi gave us pocket utility chic for spring/summer 2011, and this season the amazing designer gave us an amazing equestrian inspired collection, The Haute École.
The collection, mainly coats and dresses was completely flawless, with the dressage inspiration being felt throughout. Coats with saddle bag shaped pockets, fur trimmed detailing, and leather panels, looked fabulous alongside the leather harnesses created in collaboration with Jas.M.B that were teamed over floaty dresses and coats.
The colour palette was mainly navy blues, browns, and black, with a few pieces of camel and cream popping up. Most items were tailored, whether in jodpur-style trousers or cocoon shaped coats with voluminous arms, this was a feminine collection with a masculine edge that worked perfectly.
Once again my favourite pieces had to be the dresses, from the floor-skimming black show-stopping gown that ended the show *top image*, or the gorgeous cross-draped chiffon dresses above.
But top of my wishlist is this panelled navy, black and grey jersey dress and the knee-length navy coat – both gorgeous and timeless.
